How a mobile visit runs
- Book with the symptom. Form or phone. Photos of the helm or battery compartment texted to (501) 214-5882 let the truck load the right parts.
- The truck comes to the boat. At the dock or on the trailer, in a barn or at a ramp. You do not hitch anything.
- Diagnosis with a meter. The flat $125 dockside diagnostic, credited toward the repair, finds the actual fault before any part gets bought.
- Menu-priced repair, usually same visit. The truck stocks marine wire, terminals, fusing, switches, and common pumps and hardware.
- Proof before we leave. The repaired circuit gets exercised under load, and you see it work before the truck pulls out.
Where the truck spends its week
Most weeks the truck touches the river ramps between the Murray Lock and Dam pool and the Little Maumelle, plus driveways across Little Rock, Sherwood, and Maumelle. The Lake Conway basin towns get regular runs while their lake comes back, and in the fall the routes bend toward the duck-club country around Scott. Club and fleet calls batch several boats into one trip, which is the cheapest way wiring work gets done in Arkansas.
What mobile does not mean
It does not mean improvised. The truck does the same standard of work a good bench does, with marine-grade tinned wire, sealed connections, and correct fusing per ABYC practice, and you get a written record of what was done. Mobile also does not mean vague money. Every visit prices off the published menu, and a trip charge, where one applies, gets named when you book.

Do you really come to the boat instead of a shop?
Yes, that is the whole model. The truck carries the meters, marine-grade wire, terminals, fuses, and common parts, and the work happens where the boat is: dock, slip, lift, ramp, driveway, storage lot, or barn. Most electrical faults never needed a service bay, they needed a technician at the boat.
How far will you travel?
The core area is North Little Rock, Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, and Jacksonville on the flat $125 diagnostic. Conway, Mayflower, Cabot, and Scott add a stated $25 to $50 trip charge. Farther out, duck clubs and lake properties get quoted honestly by the mile when you call.
Can you rescue a boat that died at the ramp?
Yes, ramp rescues are a normal part of the week. Call with the ramp name and the symptom, and the truck rolls with the likely parts. No-crank calls at Murray Park, Maumelle Park, and the Toad Suck ramps usually end with the boat running that day.
What should I have ready when the truck arrives?
Access to the boat and its batteries, the key, and whatever history you know: what quit, when, and what has already been replaced. That last part matters, because knowing a new battery did not fix it saves the first test.
